THANKS FOR JOINING ME! I HOPE YOU ENJOY MY VIDEO! WE HAVE A BIG PROBLEM IN TORONTO WITH PHRAGMITES AUSTRALIS INFESTATION! So I noticed this tributary of the Rouge River that crossed Sheppard Avenue East, just east of the Home Depot. It was totally infested with Phragmites, which displeased me greatly. Now that I have the time, I have started removing what I can of what is there. It’s important to know that even if you don’t eradicate all of the plants, you are still making a favourable change for the environment! Even if you don’t remove the plant by it’s roots, removing its seedhead will prevent new plants from growing. Removing the dead matter will allow the area to be easier for native animals to navigate.
Thanks to Metapho App for letting me keep track of the recording date of my Vids. A huge shout out to Lumafusion for providing superior quality editing than iMovie! Thanks to Adobe Spark Post for helping me create my Thumbnails!!
